I attended the last conference which was held in Washington, DC. I was amazed at the amount of information that was being delivered by the speakers. This is not some put together conference with one or two good speakers. Everyone who will be speaking in well respected in their field and are willing to share some helpful tidbits for all. If you just come out with one or two ideas from this conference it could carry you on to bigger and better things.

Will I Benefit From Attending A Marketing Seminar?

August 24th, 2008

Will I benefit from attending a Marketing Seminar? I do not know how many times I asked myself that question. Will I learn anything? I do not know anybody there. Do those thoughts and questions sound like something you would ask yourself?

I always thought going to a conference was for others, certainly not someone like me. I had just gotten into Internet marketing. Though I had many questions I thought there was no way I could get my answers by attending. Boy was I ever wrong.

I found there a lot of people just like me and we all had questions we needed an answered. This turned out to be the perfect place to throw out and get new ideas as to how to progress in this business. And the supposed “Guru’s’ of the business were the ones that were wiling to share their knowledge. I could not have been in a better place to learn and to get answers to my questions.

Most of the seminars offer quality speakers who share what they are doing and how to make it in the Internet world. And yes, it is does require some work but the rewards can be worthwhile. There are people who are actually making a living at this. Imagine that!

The recent Focus Marketing Seminar which was put on by Pat Lovell and Sean Roach was one of those great conferences. There was the proper mix of speakers to show you how to make money, get some tax savings and invest it. This was one of the first conferences where they were actually giving out some great information and prizes. Yes, I said prizes. And lots of other free stuff.

You all in the UK are really in for a treat. The next seminar being put on by Pat and Sean is coming up in October. The dates have been announced. And I know it will be jammed pack with new people and veterans of Internet marketing. All trying to learn new things and to share their knowledge. The last one which was held in Washington, DC had participants from Australia, Ireland, Vancouver, California, Texas and other places as well. But you see everyone, wants to learn about Internet Marketing. How about YOU!

Here are the dates for the next conference:

Event Dates - October 17th, 18th and 19th 2008

8am Friday - Registration and Breakfast

Focus Marketing Seminar - Day 3

August 18th, 2008

Focus Marketing Seminar has ended. It came in with a “Bang” and went out with a “BANG”. This event was filled with content by all of the speakers. Not one of those seminars where all they want to do is try to sell to you. Now do not get me wrong the speakers did have products to sell but they also made you feel like they really wanted to help all of us.

From the first speaker of the day, Mike Koenig the action was full of content all day. Mike gave us some very good insight into video marketing and if you are not doing it you had better start soon. There are some amazing things being done with video, witness YouTube and it will only be getting better.

Adam Ginsberg was next up and Mr. eBay was at his best. If you have not heard him tell his story about how he got started on eBay you are really missing out. And if you thought eBay was changing with all those new restrictions just ask Adam and he show how you can still prosper with eBay.

Larry Goins was next and he gave some amazing content on how you can prosper in the real estate market even now with the “slow economy”. He had the crowd on the edge of their seats as he showed how this was possible.

Finally Stephen Pierce took the stage. Wow this guy is really awesome and presented some amazing content. Stephen is a very powerful speaker and he can tell you about the bad times as well as the good times. He really makes you want to take action.

There were a number of speakers over the three days that really made you think about taking massive action to get started in the Internet Marketing business. I know there were a lot of those individuals I want to mentor me. And I am going to make it happen. You can do the same even if you are new and just getting started or have been at it for a while. Take Action and get to a seminar. It can change your life.

By the way the seminar supports Big Brother and Big Sister. That in itself shows the generosity of Sean Roach and Pat Lovell. If you can get by the quirkiness of Sean and the “loudness” of Pat you will have some fun. And by the way what does Sean have against that blue haired guy anyway?  And keep a look out for GotAccess.com. You will be amazed. They have a grand opening scheduled for October 31, 2008, which is the day Nevada became a “Battle Born” state.

This was probably one of the best seminars that I have attended. Sean and Mike really made it fun for everyone. For all of you that have tickets for Focus Marketing Seminar UK you are in for a real treat. What is that, you do not have tickets yet. You had better get them soon because when everyone finds out about this conference it WILL sell out.

Focus Marketing Seminar - Day 2

August 17th, 2008

Boy, Day 2 of the Focus Marketing Seminar in Washington, Dc just built on the success of Day 1. The participants were eager to learn what the day would lead to. And Sean and Pat had mentioned that there would be a surprise outing and if you wanted a ticket you had better be there by 9am. There were also some great prizes given out. The Focus Marketing Seminar UK in October should be a great event.

Les Eveneshen, President of CTFP Trading Solutions, kicked off the day with an outstanding presentation about investments. It really opened the eyes of everyone in the crowd and was well received. What a way to jumpstart the day.

Gary Ambrose was next up and he wowed the crowd showing them his numerous list building skills and how it can be a lot easier than we think. He presented some theories and gave us some information that we will all proces when we get home.

Patrick S. James presented some tax strategies and solutions which we all can use with our business. Remember to save those receipts and two key words, Intent and Reasonable. And one of his statements, “If that cannot get you fired up then you got wet wood”.

Armand Morin was next up and I must say whenever I have heard Armand speak it seems he is always presenting fresh content which is relevant and definitely gets the crowd buzzing. I took lots of notes.

Tracy Repchuk was the last speaker of the day. Tracy showed us why coming to these events is so worthwhile. Tracy is from Canada and after going to a Internet conference took action, moved her family to the US and has taken off in the Internet world. She has become a best selling author and now coaches newbies and others to get on the right track to get their business going.

After all of that we had a nice outing traveling around the nation’s capital sightseeing and networking with everyone. And by the way who was that guy laying across that police car and did he have his hands behind his back? Hmmmmm.

Focus Marketing Seminar Coming to the UK

August 16th, 2008

The Focus Marketing Seminar was kicked off today in Washington, DC. Sean Roach and Pat Lovell have put together a stellar line up to appear at this year’s conference. The day commenced with an introduction by Sean and Pat who talked about what to expect this weekend.

Today we heard a little bit from Debra Thompson Roedl who really got the crowd going with an emotional talk about having a passion for marketing methods and strategies that you can apply and implement now into your business. If you have not heard her speak you must. As she says”Change your thinking…change your life”.

Next up was Chris Johnson who explained to us there is a lot of money out there that the government is giving out in the form of grants. And he can show you how to get a piece of the action. And remember with grants you may not have to pay the money back. There are grants for education, real estate and business. You just need to know where to look.

Pat, the reserved one,  talked about one of their companies, Rip2it, learning about Niche Marketing, the membership site, FTP and hosting, Domain names and setting up your pre-made sites.

Sean, the enthusiastic one, then talked about one of his new babies, GotAccess.com, a social technology platform, which you will be hearing a lot more about real soon.

There was also an announcement made about an upcoming Focus Marketing Seminar in the UK which is tentatively scheduled for October. More will be coming out soon.

One last thing for you all in the UK, if you happen to go to the seminar and you hear Sean tell you to “Get Off Your Duff” you had better sprint up to the stage as it could be worthwhile.
